Contagious

I log this this blog.

I mean, my hit counter logs ip addresses so you can see from whence people are accessing your site. It allows me to see that I have recently had a visitor from navy.mil. It also allows me to see that there are far too many people from American Christian schools visiting this page. What's even more disturbing is that someone from vicone.netspace.net.au is visiting my page twice a day, one of those time being about lunchtime.

Who was this person? Why were they visiting this page? What the hell was wrong with them? Didn't they realise that I was not to be encouraged?

Then the unthinkable happened. A message appeared in my post comment boxes from a "Jennifer". Obviously this is an acronym for "Halil bin Udekanij Josef bin Osama Falafel el Mujahadin bin Kameer". Who obviously doesn't know what an acronym is, because if he did he would have signed his post "HbUJbOFeMbK".

Then were the contents of the message. They included a cleverly encoded link to their website which after hours of deciphering I found ingeniously hidden inside the "Website" link. When I visited this page I discovered that they had a link to a Pink Chickens fan page. It was, like my website, pink.

Co-incidence? I think not!
