Okay. Well I solved my modem problem. They wanted $250 - $370 for a new internal modem for the iMac, PLUS the installation fee at $45/hour.

Not a chance. Solution? A Swann MacSurfer for about $200. Sounds a lot for a USB modem but it's designed for Macs and I am consistently getting DL speeds of about 6-7kilobyte/second at the moment. That'll do. Still cheaper than getting the internal one repaired though.

After stalking Tigris for days, she has finally changed our tickets for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for a different session. The fellow 'potties' from the Brisbane Harry Potter Fan Club will be there, so we won't be the only people there who are wayyyyy too old to do this.

We are cosplaying - I am going as a Gryffindor (undecided which one, although I could do an accent and be Oliver Wood), while Tigris is going as Cho Chang. For obvious reasons. I mean, obvious to me, because I have seen her. Oh crap. I mean, because she is of Asian descent she will be going as the Ravenclaw Cho Chang.

Much better.

Well at least the wave of dirty searches for this site have stopped. I am regretting ever writing about those dirty stories that people who find my page are searching for. All I seem to get now is frustrated freaks looking for animated spooge. Yuck.
