Oh, How I Hate The Summer

New job-thingy. I work for an AV Staging company. You want Plasma Screens/Data Projectors/Video Cameras/Screens/Audio Gear/etc you call us, I deliver and set up the gear, then arrive later to remove it for you.

In other news, the heat is annoying. All these cute girls walking around in shorts/skirts/singlet tops/blouses and worst of all SUNDRESSES!!! Damn cuteness!!!

Congrats to Tigris on her newfound employment. I worked a 40 hour week this week and watched as the tax man took nearly a quarter of my hard earned dollars. Then, as a kick in the teeth, this morning I had to do a job at the Queensland Treasury Corporation (government money-minders), only to find out that their ofice is being retrofitted into some kind of cocktail bar or club. Well, at least that's what it looked like. As far as I could tell, it was all chrome and glass and such. Nice. But not when I'm bloody paying for it!!!
